Phenomenal food

Went there Tuesday at 1pm.. Not packed or busy at all.. The waitress was nice and restaurant looked clean. However, the food took too long to get ready. Also they didn't have some basic items from the menu such as plantains. I would not recommend this establishment given Queens offer other Ecuadorian Restaurants with better food service.

This food had no flavor and the pork tasted old. I got yellow lettuce and two tortilla de papa with no cheese. Absolutely the worst!!! Do not recommend.

Food is very good and a good value. The grilled pork chops and sopa de bola were delicious. Server however was pretty bad. Might be cause it was late.

The food & service was good, the meal prices were pricey compare to the surrounding area. I believe if they lowered there prices the restaurant would have more business then what they have now. Viva Ecaudor 🇪🇨

The place has great food. The service takes a little long, but is understandable since they have a lot of clients. The decorations are simple yet feel comfortable. I recommend it, if you want to go by yourself or with the family.

Fantastic authentic food. We had the ceviche which was huge and delicious. Skirt steak was cooked to perfection. Best we’ve had. Also the seafood soup was full of seafood and very tasty. Cute little outdoor tables and pleasant service. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the Picada and it did not have any chicken and mostly bones and yuca.

Horrible food and service be careful with the bill they include 15% tip then they charged my credit card without my knowledge another 20% for tip I ended up paying 35% gratuity for bad service. I ordered a side they never served me but charged me for it when I called their attention to it they told me they had run out of that. My bill was adjusted only because I noticed. The other thing was they had drinks of margaritas mojitos and sangria advertised at $6 I was charged $11.99 for my mojito. This is too many things to go wrong with my check if you go dont let them RIP you off

Traditional Ecuadorian restaurant staff is marginal a 2 at best. Location is great ease to LIE 495 highway. Portions are large they do an Automatic Tip on your bill and DO NOT Tell you. So when you then add To Go Items your now being charged a Tip or gratuity for to go food. The Spanish Speaking staff did not have enough common sense to wait on your courses if you ordered a Soup Appetizer and an Entry all 3 items came out together so your Entire not sits getting cold. Food portions were large and tasty. This restaurant is very dark and needs decor or a makeover to make this an enjoyable spot.

The food is very good I love the food my kids love the bolon mixto very good ! But the service is very very very bad their is only two waiters that are so rude ! And they over charge not the price on the menu they add to the bill other prices on your bill 🙄 I prefer to take out ! Tropical at Greenpoint Ave

Called over a dozen times and was hanged up on finally got thru placed an order picked it up and they overcharged me by an entire meal, called several times and hanged on me one person kept saying only spanish...they then proceeded to tell me they changed there advertised prices by $dollars on every item I bought which still leaves the about $4 off that price even with tax....worst service ever miserable counter persons too

Food had flavor, but service was slow. Years ago used to be better. Ceviche were way flavorful and the portions better. Give it try but don't expect way much.

Food were great. Had the peppered steak, bed stew, bed ribs, and the goat. I do recommend this place. The service was nice and friendly

I just got there and it was empty. I spent long time waiting for the food and when I finally get it everything was a disaster the rice with not salt, the oil was old, raw chicken, the avocado it was to hard like a rock. The manager came to me with the same avocado when I returned saying that this was the last one expecting I will take the same one.

I WENT YESRTERDAY FOR MY A FAMILY MEMBER BIRTHDAY , OUR BILL CAME UP TO $300 AND THE SERVICE WAS BAD I NEVER IN MY LIFE WENT TO A RESTAURANT AND I HAD TO LOOK FOR THE WAITER IN THE KITCHEN , NO NAPKENS , NO GOOD FOOD THE CAMARONES CEBICHE WAS SWEET WE TOLD THEM IS WAS BAD AND THEY DIDNT CREDIT US THE CEBICHE AND WE DIDNT EAT IT , PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS TROPICAL RESTAUARNT I RECOMMEND THE ONE IN JAMAICA AVENUE

Great Equadorian food. The Pina colada is amazing as is the seafood soup. The churrasco colombiano was good and the ceviches are great. I think seafood is their specialty. Will definitely go again and try more seafood options.

Nice place in Patchogue. I like their outside garden, to have a good meal or just to enjoy a drink. Evenings, the place to be at Patchogue.

IF YOU LOVE COLD FOOD AND LITERALLY AN HOUR AND A HALF OF WATING AFTER YOU’VE BEEN SEATED FOR Your FOOD TO ARRIVE, please do come to this place.. Im sorry to say but this place has really change over a year, from waiting to be seated ( which we can tolerate) to getting our food cold and not what we have ordered. I ordered an Entrana MEDIUM WELL and it came cold, had no choice to see if they can warm it up but by the time it came back i got an extra dry meat, order a bandeja paisa came out cold. Food was 6 out 10. Not a very wise choice to go. How ever I must add that at the when paying the bill One of the staff was kind enough to apologize for the service.REALLY HOPE THIS PLACE WOULD CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.
